In this course, we'll explore the history, cultural beliefs, and traditions of the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples, focusing on their efforts to reclaim identity and community. Topics include the importance of land and language, "the right to hunt and fish as formerly," the Douglas Treaties, and the significance of family and community.
