Adult learners (18+) who want to complete their high school diploma can enroll in TLA’s online courses. TLA offers courses and guidance for students looking to complete their Adult Dogwood.
The AP Program allows high school students to embark upon rigorous college-level studies. Students can receive high school credits, and if they perform well on the AP exam, college/university credit.
The LSS program offers individualized academic and therapeutic support plans created for a student’s observed and assessed needs. Students work with experienced teachers to create supportive home-based, classroom and online learning environments.
Blended learning combines in-class with at-home or online learning. Blended Programs combine one-two days weekly with learning at the home. Blended Courses combine 90 minutes in class weekly per subject, with further coursework provided online.
The Grad Adapted Courses are paper-based and offered to TLA’s full-time students who are able to complete grade-level material but need adaptations in most or all subject areas because of learning challenges.
TLA Home is an individualized program taking place in the home with parental supervision and input into program choices, including resources and services. One teacher supervises the entire program. Home programs may include online or blended courses.

RealTime learning is structured and interactive, two-way online education that happens in real-time with a teacher. The RealTime online courses follow a September – June course schedule and the class meets together, online, once a week for 1 hour.
