This course is designed to provide students with developing the mathematical understandings and competencies identified for both entry into the world of work and some post-secondary programs. Curricular content includes geometry, measurement, financial literacy, statistics and application of number concepts. Curricular competencies such as estimating, visualizing, modeling, use of technology and communicating are experienced through the mathematical curricular content.
